What is sophrology.
Created in the 60 by Alfredo CAYCEDO Neuropsycholochiatriste, sophrology is inspired by several disciplines such as hypnosis, and eastern techniques such as yoga and zen. A real mix of eastern and western technique.
The study of the consciousness in harmony Sophrology combines breathing exercises, simple movements and visualisation, guided in a state of relaxation, to bring better awareness and harmony to the body and mind and to reach inner resources. It can be easily re-enacted in everyday life – in the workplace, on the train, in an exam, in the classroom – to help overcome specific obstacles, such as stress and anxiety, and to help foster a state of calmness and positivity.
